Tomorrow is October 1st....do you know where your Halloween bar cart is!? 🧹

Shopping for your bar cart can be overwhelming, but I am here to help! I've put together a shopping list to help you take your every day bar cart and transform it into the month of October!

I came up with (lucky number) 13 easy additions that will take your cart from every day flavorful to Autumn Spiced! Let's get spooky!

Fall Theme Bar Cart Shopping List: 🍂

1. Apple Cider

2. Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

3. Black Food Coloring (red and purple are also good!)

4. Caramel Syrup

5. Fall Spices (cinnamon sticks, star anise, cinnamon sugar and cloves)

6. Ginger Beer

7. Edible Glitter

8. Candy Eyeballs

9. Fun spooky glasses!

10. Whiskey or Bourbon

11. Chai Tea Latte concentrate (not pictured)

12. Midori (Melon Liqueur)

13. Spooky Straws (mine are "freaking" bats!)

1. Apple Cider: Apple cider is great with a gin and tonic or to add into your favorite whiskey sour OR Margarita. It's very versatile for cocktails this season! You can also keep it in there for Thanksgiving cocktails. You really get any sort of Apple Cider that you love! I say local apple cider is always the best choice!

2. Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer: Pumpkin creamer and a bar cart!? - YES! Pumpkin creamer is GREAT for any creamy drink. A good frozen coffee drink or an espresso martini. My all time favorite coffee creamer is Chobani. I truly think they make the best flavors. They have dairy AND dairy free options. Hopefully your local grocery store carries Chobani because when in doubt, that's the creamer to go for!

3. Black Food Coloring (red and purple are also good!): Black food coloring (or red or purple) is a perfect and easy addition to add spookiness to your cocktails! Add a little black food coloring to your favorite cosmo and VIOLA....Halloween!

4. Caramel Syrup : Caramel syrup is perfect to rim a glass that is going to be dipped into cinnamon sugar OR instead of simple syrup for an apple flavored cocktail! Torani makes the best syrups (I liked a set of 4 syrups by Torani. It's perfect for your bar cart AND your coffee bar!)

5. Fall Spices (cinnamon sticks, star anise, cinnamon sugar and cloves): Fall spices are PERFECT for making spiced simple syrup. Also for garnishes and cinnamon sugar for the rim of the glass. Throw all these spices in your grocery carts! They will also come in handy through Thanksgiving and Christmas season!

6. Ginger Beer: Ginger Beer is perfect for Moscow Mules or Kentucky mules. For some reason those cocktails feel like Fall to me. Ginger is going to be great come Christmas season too. Goslings makes my favorite Ginger Beer.

7. Edible Glitter: Are you in the mood for a witches brew cocktail!? You're gonna want edible glitter to make your Halloween Cocktails extra magical. Not only does it make the cocktail visually appealing, it also makes it look really good in a photo!

8. Candy Eyeballs: Goggly eyes are the tiny little item you did't know you needed...until you have them. If you're having a Halloween party, you're guests will be obsessed! These are a perfect add on to your garnish. Throw some eyeballs onto your lemon peel and you'll feel like someone has got their eyes on you ;) These also go great on a spooky charcuterie board.

9. Fun spooky glasses: I chose plastic spooky glasses or my Halloween bar cart for hosting. Sometimes it's a better choice to go for plastic glasses for parties (just in case- we don't want anything to break). But these glasses (linked) are SO fun! Your guests won't even realize they are plastic.

10. Whiskey or Bourbon: You can certainly add any liquor of your choice to your bar cart, but for Fall, I think Whiskey or Bourbon is a must have. For some reason, brown liquors seem "warm" to me. My absolute must have for Whiskey is a Rye Whiskey Sazerac. If you are making a Whiskey Sour or an Old Fashion - this is the liquor you're going to want!

11. Chai Tea Latte concentrate : Chai lattes are another seemingly fall drink! Chai concentrate is great to incorporate with many cocktails! Chai already has the spice in it, so immediately its going to make your drink autumn friendly. Linked is a favorite of mine.

12. Midori (Melon Liqueur): Nothing says spooky season more than a green cocktail! Midori gives a cocktail the most perfect iridescent green color. It looks like potion! You're gonna want to add this to your bar cart. (It also comes in handy during Christmas if you want to make a Grinch style cocktail)

13. Spooky Straws (mine are "freaking" bats!): Finish off your cocktails with some fun straws! Guests love a fun straw, so if you're hosting, you'll want to pick up something fun! I linked my favorite straws for Halloween. The are pink and black glittery bats....what more could yoy want!?
