Although it's January 31st, I thought I would start Valentine's cocktails a day early and of course with a Galentine's approved cocktail! Calling all my Galentine's Gin Girls! We're starting off with an extra pink spin on a classic Gin cocktail. Instead of grenadine, I swapped it out for dragon fruit simple syrup because of course it's an even more vibrant pink. This is perfect for your Galentine's day brunch!
Galentine's Pink Lady 💗
Ingredients:
2 oz Gin
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Dragon Fruit simple syrup
1 oz liquid egg white (pasteurized)
1 Maraschino cherry for garnish
Directions to create your Galentine's Pink Lady:
Start by putting your Nick & Nora glass in the freezer to chill.
In a cocktail shaker, add your gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white.
Using a hand frother, give it a good froth (aka your dry shake).
Add 2 pieces of ice and give it a good shake (your wet shake).
Grab your glass from the freezer and strain in your pink goodness.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry! Best enjoyed with your Galentine's day besties!
The Galentine's Pink Lady is a cocktail that exudes femininity and fun. The vibrant pink hue from the dragon fruit syrup gives it an appealing look, while the blend of gin, lemon juice, and egg white creates a refreshing and tangy flavor with a smooth finish. The maraschino cherry garnish adds a sweet touch, making it a perfect drink for a Galentine's day brunch or any other occasion where you want to celebrate with your girlfriends. It's not just about the drink, but the experience of creating and sharing it together. So here's to all the Galentine's Gin Girls out there! Cheers!
Remember, the key to a good cocktail is quality ingredients and attention to detail. If you can't find dragon fruit simple syrup, you can make your own at home by simmering dragon fruit pulp and sugar until it becomes a thick syrup. Similarly, if you don't have a Nick & Nora glass, any cocktail glass will do—just make sure it's chilled for the best results.
