On the 7th day of Christmas, my bar cart gave to me, a PEAR inspired drink!

I'm not sure what it is about pears that reminds me of Christmas. Perhaps it's the 12 Days of Christmas song or the fact that everyone I know seems to get a gift set of pears around the holidays, BUT let's drink! I especially love this cocktail because it involves things you are already probably using around the holidays...vanilla extra...cinnamon...! You can probably multi task making cookies while sipping on this goodness!
Grab a blender or food processor!
-Gin or Vodka
-Prosecco
-Vanilla extract
-1 pear
-sugar (I used truvia)
-cinnamon
Peal the skin off your pear & cube. Place the cubed pear into a food processor or blender with a teaspoon of vanilla extra and 1/4 cup of water. Toss in a splash of prosecco. Blend away! Coat the rim of the rocks glass with the juice from a small piece of pear and then dip the class into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. The rim of your glass is now cinnamon sugar goddess! Add ice to your rocks glass, 1.5 ounces of gin, 1.5 ounces of your pear mixture from the processor or blender and top off with prosecco! (feel free to add seltzer if you want additional bubbles)... Viola! A partridge in a pear DRINK!
