On the 25th day of Christmas, I give you a nightcap that perfectly encapsulates the holidays! You'll definitely want to wind down with this spiced goodness. This drink is super easy to make and super tasty, the perfect way to end your Christmas festivities. This recipe brings together the comforting warmth of chai tea and the festive cheer of spiced rum, making it the perfect Christmas nightcap. So, let's get started on preparing this delightful drink.

Spiked Chai Christmas Nightcap

Ingredients:

Here's what you'll need to prepare your Spiked Chai Christmas Nightcap:

  • @tazo Chai Tea Concentrate (warmed up)- product I used below

  • 1 oz Spiced Rum

  • Splash of water

  • Cinnamon Sugar for rim

  • Star Anise for garnish

Directions:

Now that we've gathered our ingredients, let's get started on the preparation. The first step in creating this drink is preparing your glass. Before you pour in any liquids, dip the rim of your glass in honey or agave and then into the cinnamon sugar. This not only adds a sweet twist to the drink but also gives it a festive look. Next, add in your rum, warmed chai tea concentrate, and a splash of water. Give it a good stir to ensure that the flavors are well combined. The chai tea concentrate will give your drink a comforting warmth while the spiced rum adds a festive kick. Finally, garnish your drink with a star anise. The star anise not only makes your drink look fancy but also adds a subtle hint of licorice that complements the flavors of your drink beautifully.
