Halloween is the perfect time to indulge in some enchanting cocktails, and what better way to celebrate than with a drink inspired by the beloved movie, "Practical Magic"? Whether you're hosting a spooky soirée or enjoying a cozy night in with a film, this Practically Magic Margarita is sure to cast a spell on your taste buds.

A Practically Magic Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz Tequila
1 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz Blood orange juice
1/2 oz Lavender simple syrup (Recipe Below)
Rosemary sprig (to smoke)
Optional: Soda water and a pinch of salt
Garnish: Lavender and rosemary sprig
Rim: Agave and lavender-colored sprinkles
Instructions:
Mix the Magic: In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, blood orange juice, lavender simple syrup, and a pinch of salt (throw a little over your left shoulder for good luck!).
Shake it Up: Add ice to the shaker and shake well.
Smoke the Rosemary: Light the tip of a rosemary sprig with a flame, and once it’s out, capture the smoke with your glass to infuse it with a smoky aroma.
Rim the Glass: Dip the rim of your glass into agave, then into lavender-colored sprinkles for a magical touch.
Pour and Garnish: Add fresh ice to the glass, strain in your margarita, and finish with a rosemary and lavender sprig.
Lavender Simple Syrup:
Combine 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup granulated sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until fully combined and the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from the heat. Add in 2 tablespoons of dried lavender and 2 teaspoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Let sit for 30 mins to an hour at the minimum. Using a mesh strainer, strain out the dried lavender. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

This enchanting margarita will leave you feeling practically magic.
Remember, as the movie suggests: "always throw spilt salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can."
Cheers to a magical Halloween!
