No matter how cold it gets outside, it can't stop us from enjoying our frozen cocktails! And if you're a lover of Tequila cocktails, then you're in for a treat. Let's add a festive twist to one of our all-time favorite cocktails - the Paloma. We're making a Frozen Cranberry Paloma that's perfect for Thanksgiving. Don't drink alcohol? No problem! You can easily make this into a mocktail using a tequila zero proof alternative.
Frozen Cranberry Paloma
Ingredients
2 oz Tequila
4 oz Fresca
1 1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1 1/2- 2 cups crushed ice
1 oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
Pinch of salt
1/4 oz Xanthan gum (optional)
Cranberries for garnish
Dehydrated lime wheel for garnish
Method: Start by taking a cocktail mixing glass and adding your tequila, fresca, cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and salt. After mixing the ingredients well, transfer the mixture into a blender. Add your crushed ice and xanthan gum if you're using it to help with the frozen texture. Now it's time to blend, blend, and blend some more until you reach the desired consistency. Once it's ready, pour your frozen treat into a 17-ounce glass. And finally, garnish your Frozen Cranberry Paloma with cranberries and a dehydrated lime wheel. This is a great way to introduce cranberry flavors into your Thanksgiving dinner, especially if you're not a fan of cranberry sauce.
So there you have it, your very own Frozen Cranberry Paloma. This cocktail is not only delicious but also has a festive twist that's perfect for the holiday season. Whether you're hosting a Thanksgiving dinner or just enjoying a quiet evening at home, this cocktail will surely add a touch of glam to your day. So why not give it a try? Here's to enjoying the holiday season with a refreshing and festive cocktail in hand. Cheers!
