Super easy and affordable Halloween decorations perfect for my beverage loving friends!
Save your bottles during spooky season because they can be easily turned into great Halloween decorations! You can line your home bar with these decorative wine bottles, on your bookshelves or place them around your entertainment center. However you like to decorate and they will be sure to add Halloween vibes! I actually did this for my wedding as a way to cut costs on decorations. I saved up wine bottles or told my friends to give me any empty bottles, I painted them gold, added glitter and baby's breath on the day! Follow the link on my blog to my step by step directions on how to turn empty bottles into spooky elegance! What you'll need: - Empty glass bottles - Black paint - Black glitter paint - Black Tulle - Black baby's breath ***all found on Amazon (links below)!
Clean your bottles very well (inside and outside) and let them sit out say they can dry. Try and take off any labels that you can from the outside of the bottles. Once your bottles are dry, paint on your first layer of black paint. Let that dry VERY well before doing a second layer of black paint. Let the 2nd layer dry very well (at least 4 hours) and layer on your black glitter paint (you should only need 1 layer of this). After your black glitter paint is dry, (check all the spots of the bottle, you may have missed some spots), you can start wrapping your black tulle. Wrap your black tulle around the bottle however you like and finish your wrapping by tying the ends in a bow or knot. The final step is to add your baby's breath into the opening of the bottle! Best enjoyed around the house adding spooky elegant vibes!
