Are you looking for a twist on the classic holiday drinks? Look no further! Here's presenting an exciting recipe that's not just delicious but also adds a touch of festive cheer to your holiday celebrations - Santa's Boozy Milkshake.

This milkshake is our creative take on the traditional Christmas ritual of leaving out some milk and cookies for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. To make things more interesting, we've taken the milk component and switched it up with a milkshake. And not just any milkshake, but a booze-infused one! After all, Santa could probably use a little pick-me-up after delivering toys all night, don't you think?

A Frozen Twist on the Classic White Russian- The Boozy Milkshake is essentially a frozen rendition of the much-loved White Russian cocktail. To add a touch of Christmas spirit, we've included a hint of peppermint flavoring. The result is a delightful, creamy concoction that perfectly encapsulates the festive spirit!

Let's Create a Treat Worthy of Santa! Ready to whip up this delectable drink? Here's the recipe for Santa's Boozy Milkshake:

SANTA'S BOOZY MILKSHAKE

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Kahlua

  • 1 oz Candy Cane infused Vodka (Recipe below)

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum (This helps maintain the frozen texture)

  • 1 cup crushed ice

  • 1/4 cup milk (You can use any milk of your preference)

Directions:

Start by adding your Kahlua, peppermint vodka, ice cream, crushed ice, milk, and xanthan gum into a cocktail mixing glass. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until all the ice is smooth. Pour your milkshake into your favorite Santa-themed glass, and voila! Your boozy milkshake is ready to be devoured.

And here's a pro-tip: this milkshake is best enjoyed with some cookies. After all, what's Christmas without the classic pairing of milk and cookies? And while you're at it, don't forget to leave out some carrots for Santa's reindeers!

Candy Cane Infused Vodka 🍬

- 8 ounce Mason Jar

- 6 mini candy canes

- 7oz Vodka (I used Titos)

Method:

In your mason jar, add your candy canes, then pour in your vodka, seal very well with the mason jar lid, give it a shake and store in your fridge for 5 days! The candy canes will dissolve but do still strain before you're ready to consume! You can use a cheesecloth and/or metal strainer. Sealed well, this can last up to 6 months in the fridge. Best enjoyed in a peppermint flavored espresso martini or a spiked hot chocolate!

Enjoy Your Festive Drink!

And there you have it - a creamy, boozy, and utterly delicious treat that's sure to add a dash of festive cheer to your holiday season. So go ahead and whip up Santa's Boozy Milkshake, and make your Christmas celebrations even more special. Enjoy!
