Spiced makes everything nice! What is a super easy way to take your home bar from regular season to SPOOKY AUTUMN FALL season!? - Fall flavors like cinnamon, cloves and star anise add so much to a cocktail....

Let's make a simple syrup that will add so much flavor to your fall cocktails and will even be great as we get into November and December season!

Spiced Simple Syrup šŸ

- 1/2 Cup Hot water (I like to bring it to a boil)

- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar (you could use brown sugar too!)

- Cinnamon Sticks (about 8)

- Star Anise (about 5)

- Cloves (about 10-12)

Method: In a bowl, stir together the hot water and sugar. Stir together until the sugar has fully dissolved. Add in your cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise. Give it a good couple stirs and then let it sit for either 30 mins or overnight in the fridge covered. After it has sat, strain it into a mason jar and be sure to label! Flavor simple syrup usually lasts in the fridge sealed well for about 1-2 weeks. Best enjoyed in your favorite fall cocktail! A bourbon sour, a sangria, mulled cider or an aperol cider gin and tonic!

Enjoy!
