Looking for a cocktail to pair with your Saturday Movie Night!? Look no further than my variation on the Blue Hawaii...
As an 80s/90s kid, I LOVED the Little Mermaid, so naturally my drink is built around that movie and I will be pairing it with another rewatch of the new live action film!
The Little Mermaid Inspired Cocktail🧜♀️
- 3/4 oz Vodka
- 3/4 oz Rum
- 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Lemonade
- Edible Glitter
- Orange Slice for garnish
- Swedish fish for fun!
Add all your liquor, juices and 3 pumps of edible glitter into a cocktail shaker. Add ice to the shaker and give it a good couple shakes. Pour out mixture into a coupe glass and #garnish with orange slice and some flounders (I mean Swedish Fish 😉) This cocktail is best enjoyed watching The Little Mermaid with a side of movie snacks.
Also, if you are watching with the kiddos, this drink can be made without the alcohol by substituting the alcohol with blue Kool Aid!
The Little Mermaid Kool Aid (Kid Friendly Version)
- 2 oz Blue Kool aid
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Lemonade
- Edible Glitter
- Orange Slice for garnish
