With Halloween just around the corner, it's time to add a spooky twist to your celebrations. In three days, the countdown to Halloween will be over, and it's time to make it memorable. One of the fun ways to amp up the festivities is by adding a twist to your Halloween candy and drinks. Back in my bartending days, I would make a lot of "snakebites", a drink made of equal parts Hard Cider and Guinness. The snakebite alone looks a bit spooky with the layered Guinness on top (with 3 simple ingredients). So, in the spirit of Halloween, let's take it a notch higher with a variation of the snakebite and add something even spookier...A Spider Bite! 🕷️

The Spider Bite 🕸️

Ingredients:

• Hard Cider

• Guinness

• Frozen Spider Gummy Candy

Method: Here's how you can prepare The Spider Bite. Firstly, get a pint glass and add your frozen Spider Gummies. Then pour in a whole bottle of hard cider, depending on the size of your glass. If you prefer, you could also use equal parts cider and Guinness. Now, top off the pint with the Guinness. Remember to pour very slowly so that the Guinness will layer on top of the cider, giving the drink a unique look. The contrast between the dark Guinness and the lighter cider, with the spooky spider gummies floating around, makes for a truly Halloween-worthy drink! The Spider Bite is best enjoyed on a lazy Sunday during the spooky season while watching football or your favorite Halloween movie. It's the perfect drink to sip on as you revel in the Halloween spirit. Enjoy!
