The US Open Famous Honey Deuce!

In honey of the final day of the US Open , let's make the famous Honey Deuce!

I was always super intrigued by the melon drink that everyone was having at the US open. What fun garnish! I thought it would be fun to add a little more melon flavor to the drink with honeydew simple syrup. Here's my take on the famous cocktail...

The Honey Deuce

- 1 1/4 oz @greygoose

- Squeeze lemon juice

- 3/4 oz honeydew simple syrup

- 3 oz lemonade

- 1/2 oz @chambordliqueur

- Frozen Honeydew melon balls for garnish

Method:

In a highball glass, add ice. Then add vodka, lemon, simple syrup, lemonade and Chambord. Give it a good stir! May need to add a few more pieces of ice and top off with more lemonade. #garnish with 3 melon balls! (It didn't come out as pink as they look in the pictures, but maybe pink lemonade is the ticket!) Best enjoyed while watching the last day of the US Open! 🎾
