Welcome to another exciting post from www.garnishyourglam.com where we share the most refreshing and exciting drink recipes for various occasions. Today, I'm going to share a fantastic recipe that is perfect for game day. Unpopular opinion, but I prefer the Michelada over a Bloody Mary. The Michelada is light, refreshing and tastes like summer. In my book, it's the quintessential game day drink!

If you're heading somewhere to watch the big game, or even if you're just chilling at home, this is a game time ready boozy drink. You can easily make this ahead of time, fill up your 6 pack and you're set to enjoy the game.

The Game Time Michelada

Here are the ingredients you'll need:

  • 1 bottle of your favorite light beer (Corona light is my choice)

  • 4 dashes of hot sauce (I use Cholula)

  • 4 dashes soy sauce or Maggi

  • 4 dashes of Worcestershire

  • Lime juice (about 1/4 of a lime)

  • A sprinkle of tajin seasoning

  • A lime slice

Directions:

Open a bottle of your beer, take a small sip first and put aside. In a small bowl, add in your 4 dashes of each (hot sauce, soy sauce or Maggi, Worcestershire sauce, sprinkle of tajin seasoning and juice from 1/4 of a lime. Funnel your ingredients into your bottle of beer! Give it a good stir with a long straw. Slowly add in a slice of lime and you're ready to sip! This is super easy and best enjoyed while watching the big game or half time show! (Super excited for Usher!)

There you have it, a refreshing and delicious drink to enjoy while you cheer for your favorite team. Remember, the key to a great Michelada is the balance of flavors. The tangy lime, the spicy hot sauce, the savory soy or Maggi and the Worcestershire all come together to create a unique flavor experience that complements the light beer perfectly.

So, are you ready to take your game day experience to the next level? Grab your ingredients and get ready to make some Micheladas. And remember, whether you're team wins or loses, you'll always have a great drink in your hand. Cheers!
